Just beyond the core of Ossington Avenue is Actinolite, featuring an ever-evolving menu according to what’s in season, fresh and available. La Banane is serving up contemporary French cuisine on the Ossington strip, complete with a raw bar featuring East Coast oysters, shrimp cocktail, Nova Scotia lobsters and more. Come for brunch, lunch or dinner and order the upscalbut be prepared to wait, the spot doesn’t take reservations and due to limited space, often has a bit of a wait time. Mamakas is Ossington’s go-to spot for elevated, rustic Aegan cuisine, with the goal of delivering a dining experience that features the most authentic representation of modern Greek cuisine and culture.
