The Unicorn Pub has terminated its sublet to Mint Bar, a local establishment that was recently charged with operating a nightclub without a licence and subject to a fine.
Further bylaw and noise charges were pending.
Coun. Josh Matlow, who was approached by local residents about noise and safety concerns arising from Mint Bar’s operations not long after his election, said they’re pleased about the establishment’s closure.
