In celebration of its very first birthday, Bicyclette Boutique has launched a capsule collection of dresses titled Bespoke. Perched around the corner from Trinity Bellwoods, Paige Boersma’s shop is filled with stylish garb for the downtown gal who feels more than at home in trendy florals, polka dots and the odd pop of neon.
Of the four dresses — each designed with a different girl in mind — our favourite styles are Chloe and Phoenix. The former is a turquoise lace frock with a scalloped hem and a vintage feel, perfect for racing around the park in; the latter — done in a lightly dotted sheer black chiffon — features a studded collar and an exposed back and is suited for a slightly edgier gal.
Each dress has been manufactured in the city and costs $178. With only six of each style produced, we don’t think they’ll make it to summer.
