Imagine a world where Gen Y-ers work together for the higher good, women’s underpants mysteriously fall down in public spaces and Homer Simpson recites Macbeth. Impossible, you say? Not in this week’s world of theatre it isn’t.

The Underpants

When a woman’s underpants “mysteriously” fall down at the King’s parade, she immediately becomes a source of lustful interest from the local townsmen — surprise, surprise. This Molière-esque comedy is translated by comedian Steve Martin, so it’s bound to be a witty romp.

The Vagina Monologues

If you’ve never seen Eve Ensler’s groundbreaking play about women talking about, well, their vaginas, then this one-night performance benefitting the Women’s Support Network of York Region is your chance to finally get your estrogen on.
