The 6 best restaurants at Yorkdale Mall, ranked

There are so many amazing restaurants located at Toronto’s ultimate shopping destination, Yorkdale Mall. Some of them are so stylish, they’ll make you forget you’re actually in a shopping centre! Here is a list of our ultimate favourites.

6. RH Courtyard Restaurant

We’ve all seen how crowded Yorkdale can get sometimes—especially during the holidays and early summer months. Luckily, RH Courtyard Restaurant offers an escape amidst the chaos. Residing inside Restoration Hardware, large crystal chandeliers and a massive skylight light up the dark, sophisticated dining room which serves up brunch, diner and an extensive wine list. Maybe it’s not what you’d expect from a furniture store, but it is what we’ve come to expect from the restaurants in Yorkdale.

5. Café Landwer

Like Earls, Café Landwer didn’t move into the shopping centre very long ago, and yet it’s already one of the most talked about. The sixth location in the GTA, Yorkdale’s location offers brunch, lunch and dinner dishes that are inspired by Italian and Meditteranean cuisine—many of which cater to plant-based and vegan diets. The cozy, bright café also serves up specialty coffees and cocktail drinks, meaning this is one stop you can add to your shopping spree no matter the time of day.

4. Konjiki Ramen & Saryo Café

When Konjiki Ramen arrived in Yorkdale Shopping Centre, it brough Saryo Café with it. While everyone knows about the Michelin-awarded Japanese noodle joint, you may not be aware that it partnered with a famous Japanese dessert shop when it moved into the mall. Shoppers can get a rest and put down their luxury brand bags to dine on some homemade ramen before grabbing a colourful soft serve or signature matcha or hojicha beverage—the perfect treat to enjoy while you shop ‘til you drop!

3. Ladurée

Kudos to you if you can resist a trip to Ladurée while spending an afternoon at Yorkdale. This adorable patisserie dates back to the streets of Paris in 1862. Colourful (and delicious!) macaroon pyramids pull people into the boutique, while a small tea room enourages them to stay in and dine on some classic French dishes. You can even book an afternoon tea! Who knew you could take a little trip to Paris without leaving the mall?

2. Yu Seafood

Another location to celebrate Asian eats, Yu Seafood brings 10,000 square feet of luxury and style, spanning across two stories. On the main floor, a fresh sushi bar will welcome you in, while, upstairs, the dining room awaits, serving up dim sum and suthentic Chinese seafood dishes. Natural finishes combine with traditional aesthetics to give off the comfortable, homey feel to one of the centre’s finest restaurants.

1.Earl’s

When Earls set up a new home in Yorkdale Shopping Centre earlier this year, its chic and modern features had no problem fitting into the centre’s space of luxury—or into the hearts of its fashion-forward clientele. With potted greenery and local artwork, the new Toronto flagship offers something more personal than other Earl’s locations, making it easy to forget you’re in such a bustling mall.
