The CNE isn’t just about carnival games and crazy rides; it’s a full blown foodie extravaganza. Every summer, 1.6 million hungry souls descend on The EX, eager to sink their teeth into the wildest, most outrageous eats. This year, the lineup is shaping up to be even more mouthwatering, with a new batch of food vendors joining in.
First up, Toronto’s own Egg Club is making its debut at the CNE Food Building. Known for its trendsetting Japanese milk bread sandwiches, Egg Club is bringing its savoury creations straight to the festival. If you haven’t tried their Instagram-worthy sandwiches yet, now’s your chance.

Next on the list is O-Mochi. These mochi donuts are the stuff of dessert dreams, and they’re rolling out an exclusive CNE flavour (stay tuned!) you won’t want to miss.
For those with a taste for the finer things, Tamarind Modern Indian Bistro is trading its Mississauga address for the CNE grounds. Expect elevated Indian dishes that will make your taste buds do a happy dance.
But wait, there’s more! The Midway isn’t just about games; it’s also a wonderland fit for a foodie! This year, check out Greekery Bakery for inventive spins on classic desserts or swing by one of the many food trucks lining Princes’ Blvd. New arrivals include Los Vietnamita (a mind-blowing Vietnamese-Mexican fusion), Tut’s Egyptian Street Food and the Fry-R Truck, a real fire truck turned into a food truck near Bandshell Park.

And don’t forget the return of Ribfest at Bandshell Park, featuring international rib-flinging from favourites like Randy’s Halal Ribs, What A Jerk and Slow Jam.
And for a sweet twist on your favorite comfort foods, Craig’s Cookies is making its debut at the CNE with a truckload of cookie innovation. Try their exclusive CNE offerings:
Pepperoni Pizza Cookie: Sweet and salty perfection with pepperoni and toffee, topped with sesame seeds and served with marinara sauce on the side. Poutine Cookie: Cheese curds baked into cookie dough for that ultimate cheese pull, with gravy on the side for dipping.
Cookies are priced at $5 each and will also be available as ‘dunkers’. Find them on Princes’ Boulevard, just inside the historic Princes’ Gates.
