Holt Renfrew may be celebrating 175 years of style and service, but it still knows how to party. Starting this week, Holts is hitting the road with its mobile fashion tour across Canada, including stops in Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver. The travelling couture caravan — called Hot@175 — will kick off in Toronto on Sept. 7, but fashionistas can get a sneak peek tomorrow night.
The mobile pop-up shop will debut at Holt’s street party to help celebrate Fashion's Night Out before making its way to the King and Portland alley space behind 600 King St. W. for its official launch.
The pop-ups will sell exclusive limited-edition sweatshirts designed by internationally renowned graphic designers Joachim Baan, Justin Broadbent, Jonathan Mak Long, Andrew and Matt McCracken, Alex Viau and Jamie Webster. The sweatshirts — which come in five colours and retail for $75 each — represent the artists’ vision of what it means to be Hot@175.
We know: sweatshirts? But soon it will be fall, and even style icons can appreciate a cozy sweatshirt, especially ones that look this good (personally, we like the “Girls” one).
