In the weeks leading up to September, we always find it hard to resist the urge to go on a back-to-school shopping spree, despite no longer being a student. Perhaps it’s the weather, perhaps it’s nostalgia, or perhaps it’s just an excuse — who knows?
Fall 2011 isn’t making things any easier for us with the varsity jacket being the must-have wardrobe addition of the season. Oh, how we lust for anything that screams “collegiate life!”
I tried this trend early, but sporting a heavily lined bomber in August resulted in heat stroke. Now I recommend saving this jacket for cooler weather and channeling its scholarly style instead through a “graded” tank top.
