In 2018, Longslice Brewery and The Docks Ellis Sports Bar teamed up to create Toronto's go-to gathering place in the community. Called The Aviary in homage to Toronto's Canary District — named for the famed Canary Restaurant which opened in the 1960s and closed in 2007, the sports bar is housed in a historic building that dates back to 1859. Featuring award-wining beers by Longslice Brewery, which is brewed site, the Aviary is known for four things: sports, community, amazing grub and craft beer. Once you step inside, you'll feel like you've been transported to the 80s and 90s: the bar is filled with nostalgic goodness including a collection of childhood sports toys gifted by customers and staff members, while menu items include a hearty collection of baskets and bowls, wings & things, burgers and even a kids menu, too.
