Nortown's own Padella is a great little taste of Italy way outside little Italy. Step inside into the warm ambience of modest yet refined decor, which, like the menu, is simple and straightforward, with no distractions, allowing for the flavours of the quality ingredients to be the star of the show. The fare is more on the traditional and classic end of the spectrum, which also means sticking to time-honoured tradition of making pastas, sauces and pizza dough from scratch, in-house. Padella even filters its own water! One menu highlight is the carbonara, which even the pickiest of nonnas will enjoy, because Padella makes it the correct way: no cream.
