About the Restaurant

Chef David Chang's New York City restaurant is setting the ramen bar high at Momofuku Noodle Bar. Located in the Shangri-La Hotel, this communal-style noodle bar is serving up modern ramen with a pan-Asian twist. With a background in French, Japanese and Korean cooking, David Chang is now one of the world's leading top chefs. A celebrity as well, with TV shows like Netflix's Ugly Delicious, Chang is all about pushing boundaries and going where no chef has been before. The airy and casual space of the downstairs noodle bar is noisy and packed with people sharing communal picnic-style tables. The ramen and noodle dishes are the main focus here, but Momofuku Noodle Bar also has an awesome selection of starters and sides. The pork belly buns are a mainstay and it's no wonder. With perfectly cooked juicy and delicious pork belly, your mouth will be watering as the servers bring them over to the table. At the noodle bar, they also offer a family-style menu and fried chicken menu that serves four to eight and is available for pre-order. This menu is extra special and comes with two full-fried chickens cooked to perfection in both Korean and southern styles.
