Since its 2019 facelift, Latin World has decided to leave its drab beginnings behind and fiesta into the future. With a renovated restaurant featuring bright yellow walls, Mexican textiles and trinkets hanging from the wall, it's hard not to feel like celebrating when walking in here. This restaurant/grocery store is selling and serving Latin American favourites and Mexican soul food that is truly authentic. The menu is filled with comforting dishes like chimichanga, tamales and pozole soup made with either chicken or pork. Latin World also has an amazing carnitas taco that chef Mark McEwan rated as one of his favourites in the city.
