Toronto’s Hippie Market—a large outdoor pop-up market where you can nab vintage clothes and antique goods—is returning late next month after a brief winter break.

The Hippie Market is known as “Toronto’s biggest small vendor market,” and the pop-up event will display over 50 eclectic vendors, featuring style-driven vintage clothing from every decade, re-worked fashion, art, homeware, decor, handmade goods and accessories, and slow fashion design.
The Hippie Market was founded by Toronto eclectic clothing veteran Kealan Sullivan and her husband, Alistair Kyte, in 2017. From 2004 to 2016, Sullivan owned vintage stores across the city, such as 69 Vintage, Buy the Pound, and V—so pop-up markets for fashion vendors was the natural next step.
“People always came to me to find out where they could get almost anything,” she told Streets of Toronto in a previous interview, crediting sustainability and inclusivity as the two major themes of the market.
Previous pop-up events saw everything from handmade colourful baubles…
