If you’re a fan of smash burgers (who isn’t?), Rosie’s serves some of the most delicious in town. Their single burger comes in at just under $9. They’re all about keeping things simple and perfecting tradition. After all, the classics were made classic for a reason, right?
W Burger Bar: $8.75

Served on a toasted bun or lettuce wrap, the beef burger at this lively spot for cheap eats (and drinks!) is only $8.75 — and there’s a lunch special with fries for only $9.99! Located right at the Yonge and College intersection, the restaurant has everything from beer pong to a private party room, and all burgers come from Ontario cattle raised free of added hormones or antibiotics.
Burgers ‘n Fries Forever: $10
The shroom burger from Burgers n’ Fries Forever features a Halal AAA Angus smashed beef patty, sautéed mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and roasted garlic aioli served on a brioche bun. They use a fresh AAA Angus halal custom beef blend and fresh produce. They also hand-cut PEI russet potatoes and make their own sauces from scratch.
