Trouble in Tahiti
This Leonard Bernstein musical look at the ’50s American Dream takes place in the day of the life of Sam and Dinah, a seemingly perfect couple on the outside, but who secretly yearn for more. The jazzy music should liven the plot up a bit, at least.

In the play that launched William Inge’s playwriting career, another troubled couple — Lola and Doc — aren’t really happy with the life they have. Doc’s a recovering alcoholic; Lola has never gotten over her heyday as the ‘it’ girl in high school. Both have their world turned upside down when they take in a young boarder named Marie.

Noël Coward takes a page out of his own life with this witty farce about a successful and self-obsessed comedy actor, Gary Essendine, as he prepares for a tour in Africa. But first, he must contend with a gaggle of women and his impending 40th birthday. Poor guy.
