Moose & Beaver F/W 2013 Runway Show

Details: Get a sneak peak at the debut fall collection from Moose & Beaver, a local women’s line. Moose & Beaver pieces feature hand knitting and original print designs. The runway show is an invitation event, but you may be able to get in by emailing rsvp@magnetcreative.ca.
True Religion and SickKids Foundation Launch

Pure Magnolia Trunk Show

Details: If there’s one clothing item a woman wants that is unique, it’s her wedding dress. For two days, Vancouver-based eco-centric bridal dress designer Pure Magnolia will host a trunk show at Cabaret Vintage. Be among the first to see the 2013 collection, which is inspired by silver screen actresses from the ’30s and ’40s. This is your chance to meet the designer and get a one-of-a-kind dress.
Zara Launches an Online Shop

Details: Do you love shopping at Zara but hate battling the mall crowds? Lucky for you, Zara is launching a Canadian online store this Wednesday. The new e-shop will offer the same clothing available at any of its 22 Canadian locations. If you need to return or exchange something, just drop into your local Zara and do it there.
Women Strut for Women 2013
When: March 7, 6-9:30 p.m.
Where: 315 Queen St. E.
Details: Join CBC’s Suhana Meharchand for an evening of fashion, food and cocktails at Fred Victor’s Women Strut for Women fundraising event. Now in it’s third year, this Bollywood-themed party is just for women, and it will feature giveaways, Bollywood dancing lessons, a silent auction, wine and a fashion show featuring David Dunkley. Amid all the entertainment, three awards will be given to women from the community for their work in creating a better world for women. Grab a ticket online for $55.
Women Supporting Women
When: March 9, 10-6 p.m.
Where: Park Hyatt, 4 Avenue Rd.
Details: Support women as well as the local economy this Saturday, when a group of Toronto-based female entrepreneurs gather at Park Hyatt Toronto. Shop local favourites such as The Black Box Boutique, Pomp & Pageantry and more as you enjoy free nail work, tea and other goodies. The first 150 attendees will receive a swag bag worth $50. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
