Homegrown Boutique and Style Empire: Pre-Fashion Week Kick Off

Details: Yorkville’s Homegrown Boutique and Style Empire magazine are throwing a Fashion Week kick-off party. Dance, drink and rub elbows with fashion’s finest while enjoying DJ Andy Alias.

Where: 6900 Airport Road, Mississauga
When: March 12-17
Details: If Fashion Week spurs a refill of the ol’ make up bag, now is a good time to do it. UK Designer Sales

Details: Based in Toronto, UK Designer Sales brings the best of London’s high fashion world to Toronto. The UK Designer Sales team regularly travels to London to buy the best items from the UK, from tops to dresses to coats, and then sells them at pop-up events. They will be sharing their unique pieces this week at the Royal York Hotel.


Guess Girl Launch Party and Fashion Show

When: March 15
Details: Toronto bloggers The Sparks Twins are hosting the fragrance launch of Guess Girl. Groove to DJ Mike Toast, and scope the Guess spring collection during the runway show. Doors open at 10 p.m.


CAISA Fashion Show: Prestige

Where: Centennial Hall, 550 Wellington St.
When: March 16
Details: Western University’s Canadian Asian International Students’ Association presents its annual charity fashion show. This will be CAISA’s 15th annual show, making it one of Ontario’s largest student-run charity fashion shows. The theme, prestige, will feature local, independent designers debuting custom collections. Proceeds will go to Opportunity to Participate’s program at Thames Valley Children’s Centre.
