So, The Black Keys show is sold out tonight. Bummer. If you, like us, slept on getting tickets, you need a back up plan. Check out Fabled at The Gladstone Hotel instead, the pre-launch event for Made2Measure, Toronto’s newest fashion festival.
Made2Measure is a three-day fashion festival set to launch in July 2012. This evening’s event, which features everyone’s favourite storybook characters re-imagined as young, stylish, modern-day women (think Little Red Riding Hood as a fashion blogger or Rapunzel as a runway model) puts all proceeds towards subsidizing costs for Made2Measure’s 11 local artists and designers.
Tickets are only $10, which, let’s face it, is a lot cheaper than the concert ticket would have been anyway. So head out to support a cool new project and treat yourself to a martini or two with that concert money you saved.
