Track & Field has moved back to College street after closing its initial location in 2019.
Formerly a basement bar, the new spot boasts two stories and has been given a fresh new look, decorated to create a trendy, vintage-chic vibe with brass and glass furniture, plants, and a cool-toned peach and green colour scheme.
The upper level, called The Palms, offers a roomy event space complete with party booths, a weekend satellite bar and free tabletop shuffleboard. Available for reservations and big enough to accommodate groups of about 40, The Palms is the perfect spot for your next birthday party, bachelorette, or corporate outing.

Whether you rent the upstairs for a private jam or play a couple of rounds of bocce ball, shuffleboard, or classic cottage game Ringo with a few friends downstairs, you’ll want to work up an appetite while you’re there. Matt Basile of Fidel Gastro’s is at the helm of the kitchen, spearheading a small but eclectic snack menu featuring simple twists on bar food favourites like smash burgers, pad thai fries, kale caesar salad, and classic chicken sandwiches – something to please everyone in your crew. In keeping with the new trend of contactless, COVID-era dining, patrons can order food straight from their phone using a QR code and pick up on the main floor.
Beyond food and games you can sip on a long list of local Toronto beers including Halo and Left Field, wine or unique cocktails like the Chai Town – a pumpkin spice spin on a classic Whiskey Sour or the Porch Crawler, an unconventional mix of vodka, pink lemonade and beer.
The new and improved Track & Field Bar is set to open on October 15. You can swing by the 582 College Street location Wednesday to Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.
