Toronto is the place to be for book lovers this month as a pop-up Reese’s Book Club experience is set to make its exclusive Canadian stop at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel’s Lobby Library.
On Jan. 12, the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel will host Reese’s Book Club, a venture by Reese Witherspoon’s media company Hello Sunshine. This event aims to unite guests and locals who share a passion for reading. Explore the extensive book collection, ranging from past picks to new genres and local selections, either by immersing yourself in the cozy ambiance of the Lobby Library or by purchasing a copy to enjoy at home.
Throughout the month, there are numerous events from which to choose including Popcorn & Pages movie night, a reading day with coffee and tea, Books, Bingo & Bubbles, Chapters & Charcuterie, and Books & Brew. Prices for these events range from free to $25. Check out the full rundown here.
For those eager to meet an author, on Jan. 23 the Lobby Library hosts the Beyond the Page speaker series featuring Reese’s Book Club author and New York Times best-selling author, Marissa Stapley — a Toronto native.
Established in 2017, Reese’s Book Club has become renowned for elevating the profiles of female authors, with notable beneficiaries including Delia Owens, Celeste Ng, and Megan Miranda, and has contributed to the adaptation of works such as Little Fires Everywhere, Where the Crawdads Sing, and Daisy Jones and the Six into films and television series.
The month of Reese Witherspoon-inspired fun concludes on Jan. 31 with a guided Book of the Month Discussion event, rounding out a month full of literary happenings.
