Too Close to Call: Pan vs. Pantheon

This month we pair Pan on the Danforth with Pantheon in anticipation of — what else? — the 20th annual Taste of the Danforth. Which legendary Hellenic joint is more heavenly? You choose.

Garlic is a big part of Greek Cuisine. It goes with everything. Greek ingredient you can’t live without? I’d have to say feta cheese.
Souvlaki — you know exactly what it is. Souvlaki or gyros? I prefer souvlaki — it’s healthier.
Aphrodite — she’s prettier! Dionysus or Aphrodite? Both — they go hand in hand!
The dolmades — stuffed grape leaves. It’s a family recipe with fresh mint, which makes a huge difference. Have any of your yia yias recipes made it onto the menu? Our chicken soup is made the traditional way. It’s soothing and healing in the cold winters in the villages.
Glyfada is one of the best-kept secret areas in Greece. It’s an unbelievable combination of the mountains and the beach. Best place to head to in Greece? Depends on whether your married or single. If you're married, all of Greece. If you're single, head to Ios Island — or Athens.
We have a big tent and 14 people working on food preparation. Are you doing anything special for Taste of the Danforth? Yeah — were getting lots of water and staff for the restaurant!
I don’t know! But a well-known fact is that everybody's using “Opa!” Little-known fact about the Greeks? We don't give up that easily!
