Everyone – and their dog – will find something amusing at Winter Woofstock, North America’s largest canine-only exhibition. From pictures with Santa and a doggy fashion show, to seminars about dog adoption and the infamous "wiener dog races," it’s a hoot. Err, bark.

Cavalcade of Lights

Nathan Phillips Square gets all dressed up for the holidays this Saturday night. Besides the lighting of Toronto’s official Christmas tree, the evening features fireworks, a skating party and live performances by Shawn Desman, Divine Brown and Sarah Slean.

European Union Film Festival

Make it a movie marathon at the Royal Cinema’s European Union Film Festival. The fest features 22 films from 21 countries.

The Whole Life Expo

This bash is Canada’s largest showcase dedicated to natural health, holistic medicine and eco-friendly lifestyles. Over 200 exhibitions are on display, including juice bars, health centres, vitamin and aromatherapy stalls and more. Bonus: sixty guest speakers talk health and wellness.
