Luminato
Life is never lack-lustre when the Luminato Festival is in on in the city. For 10 days, the festival will fill our streets with the sights and sounds of music, film, dance, theatre and art. Don’t let the light blind you – there’s a lot to see. Check out the line-up before you purchase your tickets.

Toronto Taste
At Second Harvest’s Toronto Taste, 60 top local chefs and 25 drink providers come together for Toronto’s ultimate food affair. Foodies can fill up on gourmet goods, mingle with celebrity chefs and score big at the auctions. The treats may be tantalizing, but Second Harvest’s main aim is to make hunger history through the event’s proceeds.

AGO Collector’s Series
Get a sneak peak at a Barenaked Lady – or at least his art collection. Kevin Hearn of the Barenaked Ladies curates the AGO’s Collector’s Series. Hearn’s series features his own work and pieces from his own personal collection, as well as work from independent artists and galleries. Hearn is just one of the celebrity collectors to curate the series, which kicks off with a party from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday.

Franco-Fete 2010
Francophiles and Francophones rejoice at Franco-Fete 2010 where all the best of French culture comes out to play. Guests will enjoy Haitian and Quebecois twists on French cuisine while music and dancing are in full-swing.
