Greenhouse Juice Co.

Located in several retail locations across the city (including their adorable flagship location in Rosedale), Greenhouse Juice Co. serves up fresh, organic, plant-based beverages daily. Greenhouse offers dozens of cold-pressed juices ($7-$8). Try the Gatsby (cucumber, apple, spinach, kale, organic ginger, and organic cold-pressed lemon) for glowing skin and relief from muscle aches. If an uptake in vitamin K is what you’re after, The Giver (rainbow chard, cucumber, collards, celery, kale, lemon, ginger, pea sprouts, and sunflower sprouts) should do the trick! Greenhouse Juice Co. also sells a variety of boosters ($2.50-$6)that can be enjoyed on their own or with your juice, as well as kombuchas (also made from cold-pressed juices), cleanses, and kits.

Village Juicery is a Toronto destination for wellness enthusiasts. With names like Be Clean, Be Active, and Be Nourished, Village Juicery’s cold-pressed juices are made fresh to order every night in Toronto, and they range in price from $4 for a booster to $11 for a 410-mL bottle. All of the products available at Village Juicery are designed by holistic nutritionists and are preservative-free, and more than 40 of the products are certified organic. There are 22 juices as well as three smoothies to choose from.
