Taylor Swift has now added six Canadian concert dates to her Eras tour.
Initially, her schedule had excluded any stops in Canada while covering 50 locations across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia until late 2024. In response to the omission, fans and Canadian politicians expressed surprise and made efforts to persuade Swift to reconsider.
Even Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, apparently a Swiftie from way back, made a personal plea to the world’s most popular musician.
The updated schedule now includes Canadian shows, and they are limited to one city: Toronto. Swift is set to perform at the Rogers Centre on Nov. 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, and 23 in 2024, as announced on her Instagram account.
“Turns out it’s NOT the end of an era 😝 Miami, New Orleans, Indy and Toronto: The Eras Tour is coming to you in 2024 with @gracieabrams!” Swift wrote on Instagram.
