Shawn Mendes has announced a special concert at Massey Hall on Nov. 25 as part of his For Friends & Family Only concert series, where the singer performs in more intimate venues. The Canadian singer-songwriter will perform every song from his upcoming new album Shawn live during this one-night-only show.
This more intimate tour structure comes after the Toronto artist cancelled his world tour in 2022, citing the need to focus on his mental health. “After speaking more with my team and working with an incredible group of health professionals, it has become more clear that I need to take the time I’ve never taken personally, to ground myself and come back stronger,” he wrote in an Instagram post announcing the tour cancellation.
The demand for tickets is expected to be high and quantities are limited, so the selection process is a bit more detailed. To help tickets get into the hands of fans (not scalpers and bots) a limited number of randomly selected fans will be given the chance to purchase tickets. Fans must register before 9 a.m. on Sept. 30 to be considered for selection, with only one registration allowed per person.
All registered fans will be notified of the random selection results via email and text by Sept. 30 at 2 p.m.
A small number of the remaining fans will be randomly selected for the Friends and Family Fan Onsale, where they’ll receive a one-time code that will unlock their ability to buy up to four tickets (30 minutes before tickets go on sale).
Still, tickets are only available on a first-come, first-served basis.
“If you are selected to receive a code after signing up, tickets will be available for purchase starting on October 1st at 10 am,” the Instagram post states.
All remaining fans who aren’t selected will be automatically added to a waitlist and alerted if more tickets become available.

Mega fans will also have the opportunity to add a credit card and ticket preferences in advance for Standing Only tickets through the Priority Standing GA Presale (Autobuy), giving them first access to Standing Only tickets for the show (with this option, tickets will be automatically purchased for you).
Before the singer hits Toronto, he’ll be singing in Red Rocks, Colorado and Berlin, Germany — and fans cant wait to see him perform.
“Thank you Shawn! I am so happy to see you here in Germany! It’s been a dream of mine for so long, I hope it will now come true” one Instagram user stated, while others pleaded for the signer to perform in other areas, like Barcelona, Brazil, Czech Republic, Australia and Argentina.
And it’s likely the Toronto tour will sell out super fast.
“I registered so fast for Toronto!!” one Instagram user stated.
Mendes will perform on Nov. 25 at 8:30 pm at Massey Hall. His new album, Shawn, is set to release on Oct. 18.
