The McLoughlin Schools Inc.

Mrs. Ann McLoughlin, a qualified early childhood educator, founded The McLoughlin School in 1971. The premises have been custom-designed and renovated to provide 1,200 square feet of indoor activity space on two integrated levels, plus an enclosed, supervised outdoor play area. Nursery and Senior Nursery Enrichment programs are provided for children. A limited enrolment summer program is available following the end of school. The philosophy of The McLoughlin Schools is to provide a warm, nurturing environment for the young child’s first experience of school. We believe each child should develop at their own pace in an environment that encourages their individual strengths; confidence in their own abilities; competence in the skills necessary for success in elementary school; and above all, a love of learning. Under the guidance of our qualified and experienced staff, French, music, math and reading readiness are among some of the programs included in our curriculum.
