Brighton is a warm, vibrant school community designed for both elementary and high school students with academic and social challenges. We address these challenges through learning groups of 3-6 students, state-of-the-art technology, social skills coaching, participation in the arts, community service and leadership opportunities. Our โBalanced Dayโ schedule incorporates fitness, recreation and sports activities. Our Elementary curriculum uses multiple methodologies including Direct Instruction, Lindamood Bell, JumpMath and Touchmath. Our Secondary Program is ideal for students who wish to take a mix of credit and non-credit courses at a slower pace, with more individualized support. We offer courses at the Locally Developed and Open level. Our Transition to Adulthood Skills Curriculum is designed to meet the needs of non-credit secondary and post-secondary students who want to develop life skills, independence and make a gradual transition to the workplace.
