Head chef Chris Taylor was born in Jamaica and lived in the tropical country until he was 13. There, he sat and watched his great grandmother (who raised him) cook, igniting his passion for the culinary arts. Since then, his journey has led him through many kitchens in Toronto, including the restaurant at the famous Old Mill, as well as many country clubs, hotels and golf courses, as well as the Airport Convention Centre. Now, he is at the helm of his own spot, Chris Jerk which brings him back to his culinary roots with Yard dishes. Look for several jerk chicken options, as well as curried goat, beef oxtail, and even some vegetarian options.
