Be it a quick slice for lunch, a whole 18-inch pie to take home for dinner or a late night bite, Yeah Yeahs is serving up fresh and delicious pizzas in an uncomplicated and unpretentious cosy and colourful space. With vintage Vans and other skateboarding brand stickers, an old school video game console set up on a small yet bulky TV and a wall with spray-painted pizza slices for a playful graffiti look, the cool and casual feel of Yeah Yeahs is worth a visit just to experience it. Of course, Yeah Yeahs only needs five permanent pizza flavours to fill up the space every day. Beyond the margherita and pepperoni, one menu favourite is the white pizza with Parmesan, mozzarella, fior de latte, roasted mushrooms, charred green onions and lemon. Wash it down with some of the local craft beers Yeah Yeahs has on tap, the made-in-house lemonade or ice tea. Or have them yell through a little hole in the wall to Yeah Yeahs’s sister café and bar, Boxcar Social, for a coffee and more wine options.
