About the Restaurant

Wvurst is King and Portland's sausage and bierhalle. Since Aldo Lanzillotta opened Wvurst in 2011 he has been dedicated to proving to Torontonians that you don't need more than beer and sausages to have a good time. The two-storey space on King West is inspired by the great food halls of the world. Communal picnic tables take up much of the space with a bar in the back for easy ordering.

The German sausage house is serving up a variety of different house-made wieners. They have a selection of over 15 varieties of sausage including kangaroo, duck-rabbit and pheasant. Wvurst is focused on making some of the most innovative and delicious dogs in the city and they are pairing them with some German-inspired sides. Their soft-pretzels always sell out and the duck fries are probably one of the most ordered items on the menu. Try some of their more unique craft beer options to go along with your meal.
