Virtuous Pie is 100 per cent plant based and transparent. The pizza, small bites and ice cream restaurant, originating in Vancouver, has listed all of its ingredients online and has created a menu suitable for every allergy and diet (except carnivore). Some exciting items include the Stranger Wings pie, with buffalo cauliflower, fried shallots and vegan blue cheese drizzle, and the Coffee and Donuts ice cream flavour served in a fresh waffle cone. The original founders, father Rob Milne and his sons Ben and Alex, have stuck firmly to their vision of Virtuous Pies being a community- and planet-driven locale with a certain amount of their revenue going to benefit Toronto-based charities.
