Located in the Corso Italia neighbourhood, this bakery has stayed in the family since it first opened in 1960. Now Tre Mari Bakery (which translates to “three seas”) has been passed down through three generations and remains a staple in the community. Tre Mari operates as both a market and cafe, offering fresh bread and groceries next to a comfortable seated area to enjoy an espresso latte while nibbling on a hazelnut cannoli. Alongside the fresh Italian breads made daily, the café at Tre Mari offers traditional gelato with a recipe that dates back to the ‘60s and offers unique flavours like smoked banana and chestnut. The Italian bakery additionally offers catering and custom cakes prepared from scratch, with fresh ingredients, for any occasion.
