Toronto’s oldest bar has been standing at King and Bathurst since 1849 but, today, it’s undergone a welcoming renovation and serves up live music and pub fare. Come for a beer, watch some sports (including, but not limited to, rugby), and enjoy some of the daily specials, like half-price wings on Mondays. Other menu items include fried mozzarella sticks and fried pickles alongside a selection of burgers and sandwiches. There are also some one-off main plates, like an all-day breakfast option, fajitas, pierogies and a chicken penne pesto. As the restaurant says, you can find whatever you’re looking for at The Wheat Sheaf Tavern.
