About the Restaurant

The Grand Order of Divine Sweets, or The GOoDS, is a geek-centric bakery on Queen West. This spot does a ton of different desserts, but when it comes to themed-cakes, theirs may be some of the best in the city. Their Baby Yoda cake made a splash on Instagram and now The GOoDS is one of the most popular spots in Toronto for elaborate cake designs.

Award-winning cake designer, Sam Lapointe, and video game industry veteran, Meridith Braun, conceptualized The GOoDS to bring "Fandom-inspired sweets" to the geek squad of Toronto. This cafe joins the ranks of Storm Crow Manor and The Lockhart as one of Toronto's most spirited spots for nerdy noshes.

Although the bakery specializes in their custom cakes, they also make a lot of chocolate. With wicked flavours like orange blossom and their 70 per cent smoked, you're sure to find something here to satiate your sweet tooth. The quirky cafe on West Queen West is a cosy spot for a hot drink and a chocolate carbonite-coated Han Solo.
