About the Restaurant

Inspired by traditional cooking done in the English countryside, the Beech Tree gives a sleek and modern edge to traditional European peasant and lowbrow foods. All they need is a good, inspiring ingredient and then dishes take on French, Spanish and North African traits. What’s important is that everything is delicious, unpretentious and for the guests’ enjoyment. One menu favourite is the lamb pot stickers made with grilled asparagus, black sesame and soy gel. Hopefully it stays on the menu permanently, but with a focus on the seasonality of ingredients, most dishes are subject to change. Be sure to wash whatever you pick down with something from the extensive wine and beer list — many options are local — or pick from one of the handcrafted cocktails.
