This family-owned spot is a tribute to the owners’ late mother, Taline, and serves as an homage to her with a combination of modern and traditional Armenian dishes to create a warm, inviting space. The restaurant is open for dinner from Monday to Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and launched a lunch program that runs on weekdays. The menu boasts dishes like the kaghamp – braised cabbage, fennel tahin, pomegranate, pumpkin seeds and pine nuts – and the tsoug, which is a whole grilled fish made with zaatar, caper leaves, charred grapes and persimmon. Shareables like labneh and babaghanoush round out a menu that’s bursting with flavour.
