Steam Whistle Brewing is right in the heart of the city. In fact, it's so close to the Rogers Centre that even I (given favourable wind conditions and a few swings) could knock a baseball from the dome and hit the Roundhouse. The best time to drink Toronto’s own Czech-style pilsner is when it’s at its freshest, and naturally the best place to do that is right at the brewery. The first sample glass is free. Worth noting is how gorgeous this space at Steam Whistle Brewing is — if you haven't been to a wedding or bat mitzvah or beer fest here, you'll be so fortunate eventually.
