About the Restaurant

From one of Toronto's most recognizable locations comes one of Montreal's most iconic foods. St. Urbain Bagel Bakery, named for a street in Montreal's Plateau and Mile End neighbourhoods, has been bringing the no salt added, honey water‒boiled, wood oven‒baked bagel to St. Lawrence market since the middle of the last century. St. Urbain Bagel Bakery has constantly been continuing the legacy of the sweet Montreal bagel, using only the freshest market ingredients to make not just bagels, but bourekas (savoury stuffed puff pastry) and flatzls (bagels so thin they are essentially chips) as well, each made fresh every day.
