Taking its name from the ancient Arab word for “dining table,” Sofra is a gathering place for Semitic suburbanites to come together and share stories over skewered meats and dip medleys. Off Highway 7 in Thornhill Woods, Sofra Grill is a great example of a no-frills neighbourhood spot that ever disappoints. The food here is consistently some of the best up in this neck of the woods. Everything at Sofra is made in-house and it shows. From crispy and light falafels, to shawarma that’s juicy and perfectly seasoned, the menu at Sofra is a like an album of greatest hits.
