About the Restaurant

This Queen West restaurant from the team behind Hogtown Smoke brings a fresh approach to barbecue. You’ll find all the barbecue classics, from brisket to ribs, on the menu but without the traditional seasonings. Instead, chef Sean Simons draws on influences from Asian and Spanish cuisine to create dishes like chicken sliders with chimichurri and Texas brisket bao. The restaurant also aims to make barbecue more accessible for vegetarians, with a good selection of meat-free dishes. Cocktails, like the Smoked Sazarac, take a cue from the restaurant’s smoke-infused theme, and a handful of local brews are available on tap. Although Smoke is mainly a dinner restaurant, it offers brunch on Saturdays, Sundays and holiday Mondays.
