Affectionately known as Shenny’s, this seasonal spot right by St. Clair subway station comes alive in the summer and hibernates in the winter. It’s a local pub on a rooftop patio, where weekend brunches and TVs showing English Premier League soccer are the name of the casual day game. The menu is traditional and comforting in the best possible way. There’s an all day breakfast, mac and cheese and fish & chips but, they’re met with grain bowls and a truffle burger and a daily soup peppered into the options. When it is open for the season, Shenny’s is closed on Mondays, open for dinner on Tuesdays and for lunch Wednesdays through Sundays. It’s open for dinner every day except Sunday.
