The family-owned and -operated purveyors of Sicilian eats Scaccia, has set up shop in the Union Station food court, giving their Yorkdale location a sorella (sister). This new location has transformed the menu classics to be more on-the-go friendly, with everything still being made fresh in-house. Scaccia has expanded its salad options and has many desserts available, such as cannolis and personal-sized tiramisùs. This spot is just one of the many that is redefining what food court dining can be. Scaccia is great at all times of the day, with omelettes available in the morning, coffee brewed fresh all day, hot pastas coming out of the oven all afternoon and arancini balls to pop as a snack whenever the craving strikes.
