Rap’s Restaurant is known as one of the best places to get Jerk Chicken in the GTA. This Eglinton West restaurant was opened over 30 years ago and represents one of the first Jamaican establishments in the area. It’s no surprise the jerk chicken is so beloved, since it is seasoned and smoked to a juicy perfection that falls off the bone. Alongside the infamous jerk chicken, the mom-and-pop shop prepares traditional Jamaican far including oxtail and curry goat. For breakfast, Rap’s serves the Jamaican national dish, ackee (a West African fruit) and saltfish (cod). Rap's is a true touch of Jamaican tradition.
