There is no puff pastry to be found at Puffs Pastries. As one of the newest dessert spots to hit midtown, it specialize in one thing: puffs. Known as zepoli in Italy, or lokma in Turkey, founder and owner Walid Badr is serving up the fresh doughnut hole–like goodies that are made fresh every day. And everyone can enjoy them! They are free of eggs, dairy and trans fat. Jazz up the puffs with drizzles, including marshmallow fluff, cinnamon sugar and Nutella, and toppings such as Oreos, coconut shavings and rainbow sprinkles. Badr has his eye on growth, so hopefully you’ll see one come to your neighbourhood soon.
