Punny and unapologetic, this Vietnamese and French bistro is serving up historic fusion we can't get enough of. With the French culture remaining so present in Vietnamese cuisine, it is no wonder the people at Pho Pas Social Bistro have decided to create a restaurant that highlights the beauty and bounty of both culturally rich cuisines. From the moment you walk in the fusion is evident. French style paintings of Vietnamese women hang from the red wall on one side, while bamboo shoots line the other creating a cross-cultural decor. The menu at Pho Pas Social Bistro on the other hand is a little less obvious. There is a fresh raw bar of PEI oysters and Cherrystone clams, an assortment of small plates that nod to both French and Vietnamese fare and even individual staples like Pho, Bahn Mi and the holy grail, Steak Frites.
