When Parquet burst onto the Toronto food scene, it instantly won over hearts – and stomachs – with its modern takes on traditional French fare. And, it seems, it became popular for good reason, as the restaurant was recognized as a part of the city’s 2023 Michelin Guide. The menu features east coast oysters, smashed beets, roast cauliflower, sablefish and lamb shoulder served with polenta. Each can be enjoyed with one of the restaurant’s unique, French cocktails like the gin-based Hot Tropique or the cognac-focused La Pantoufle. Of course, there’s also a selection of non-alcoholic beverages as well as a rather friendly beer and wine menu.
