About the Restaurant

One of Unionville's most iconic landmarks also happens to be a candy store. In the early 1800s Old Firehall took its place in the heart of Unionville and was turned into the Old Firehall Confectionery where it remains the franchise's flagship store. A staple within the community, customers keep coming back for Old Firehall's wide selection of handcrafted artisanal chocolates, macarons, cupcakes, custom shortbread cookies and a variety of other confections. One of our personal favourites is the macadamia nut and Moose Tracks ice cream sandwich that has the perfect ratio of cookie to ice cream. Everyone, including those who want to be free of peanuts, gluten and sugar and, of course, vegans, will certainly find something here that speaks to their sweet tooth.
