Nadège Patisserie, founded by partners Morgan McHugh and executive chef Nadège Nourian in 2009, has become a favourite among lovers of French macarons in the city. These sweets are a tasty afternoon treat for a Saturday spent at Trinity Bellwoods Park. With an array of flavours that changes seasonally, some favourite macaron flavours include Earl Grey, Iranian pistachio and rose. Nadège Patisserie also offers homemade marshmallows, chocolates, tiny but perfect pastries and cakes, the latter of which also come in sizes suitable for a birthday or other celebration. All are esthetically stunning, and Nourian herself is achieving a perfect balance of sweetness and flavour to the treats and has opened the bakery doors to teach a variety of pastry master classes wherein customers can make their own macarons, madeleines, pâte à choux and more!
