By day Mum’s the Word is serving a delightful brunch for the whole family, but once the sun goes down, this Little Italy hotspot becomes a banging cocktail bar turning out Caribbean snack foods all night long. This cafe and snack bar is super versatile. In the morning they open serving breakfast sammies, granola and baked goods, with a full brunch on the weekends. But after 7 p.m., the bar transforms into a hotspot for creative cocktails and Island-inspired eats. The interior of Mum’s is mostly industrial looking with some neon and artsy accents. Go in for the morning rush and try one of their Vietnamese coffees, or organic matcha latte’s and stay late for some jerk sliders and a Mum’s Daiquiri. There’s never a dull moment at Mum’s the Word.
